The SBP’s reserves have shrunk by $90 million

On December 10, 2021, the country’s total liquid foreign reserves were US$ 25,027.8 million. The following is a breakdown of the foreign reserves position:

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 18,568.3 million

Also read: SBP’s reserves did not change to US $20,022.7 million.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks    : US$ 6,459.5 million

Total liquid foreign reserves             : US$ 25,027.8 million

During the week ended 10-December-2021, SBP reserves decreased by US$ 90 million to US$ 18,568.3 million.
