On December 17, 2021, the country’s total liquid foreign reserves were US$ 24,633.0 million. The following is a breakdown of the foreign reserves position:
Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 18,153.7 million
Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 6,479.3 million
Total liquid foreign reserves : US$ 24,633.0 million
