KARACHI: Sindh’s Prime Mark Cotton rate hit a new high of Rs 17000 per maund, the highest in the country’s history. The Karachi Cotton Association’s Spot Cost Committee raised the spot rate by Rs 100 per maund on Tuesday, bringing it to Rs 16000 per maund.

The Karachi Cotton Association’s Spot Rate Committee raised the spot rate by Rs 100 per maund and closed it at Rs 16000 per maund. The polyester fibre cost Rs 247 per kilogramme.
