Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) acquired its second Airbus A320 on a six-year dry lease at Islamabad International Airport on Saturday morning. According to a Pakistan International Airlines official, the plane arrived via Egypt from Perpignan, France, and the national carrier also just purchased a dry lease aircraft, which is now part of the Pakistan International Airlines fleet.
The second Airbus A320 will formally join the PIA fleet in the next few days.
The total number of Airbus A320 aircraft in the PIA fleet now stands at eleven with the arrival of this aircraft. The national flag carrier’s fleet will grow to 29 aircraft of various brands with the arrival of this Airbus A320. More aircraft would be added to the PIA fleet, according to the business plan.
