Maula Jatt Will Not Release In India
The Legend of Maula Jatt, the newest Pakistani success starring the on-screen couple, has had its release in that country cancelled, according to Indian media. This has saddened fans of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan on the other side of the border.
The definitive work by Bilal Lashari won’t be published in India, according to Hindustan Times. According to earlier reports, the Pakistani movie’s release has apparently been postponed indefinitely.
“The movie’s release has been postponed, the distributors have informed us. We were made aware of this two or three days ago. We have not been given any further dates, an INOX official was quoted as saying in a PTI report.

The representative went on to say, “Zee Studios bought the rights to The Legend of Maula Jatt because they thought the movie would be popular. However, due to objections from various groups, it was decided not to release the movie.
The Legend of Maula Jatt’s release was delayed, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader and head of their movie section Ameya Khopkar tweeted, “Impact Of Raj Thackeray’s Warning! Following the MNS warning, the Pakistani film “The Legend of Maula Jatt” has now been completely cancelled. Not just in the state, but no longer across the country, this film will no longer be released.
