In September, Pakistanis living abroad sent $2.7 billion in remittances, according to Farrukh

ISLAMABAD: Farrukh Habib, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, said Pakistani expats contributed $2.7 billion in remittances in September 2021, up 16.9% from the same month the previous year.

NRLP benefits may be partially eliminated for Pakistanis living abroad.

Overall remittances in the first quarter of the current fiscal year (2021-22) were $8 billion, he stated in a tweet on Saturday. According to him, remittances increased by 12.5% in the first quarter compared to the same period last year.
